Daily Activities English Version #18

Assalamualaikum wr.wb

Back again with me. As usual I will discuss about what I did during practice this week. This is my first day of practice this week. Today our campus gets a lot of visits from guests outside the area. Due to the visit, we had to prepare lunch for the guests. A day earlier, on a Sunday, we came to prepare so that we would not be left out. Because yesterday the material hasn't arrived yet, so I and one of my friends shop at the market to buy the finished material.

We have guests from the provincial brothers of Paskibraka. So the younger siblings of Paskibraka not only visited our study program, but also visited all study programs on our campus. After the siblings watched us cook food for their lunch, they went to the campus restaurant to prepare to eat the lunch we made especially for them . After we finished handling the food for the guests' lunch, we also continued to make prickly rice from a apang paranggi

cake. so tomorrow we will make a paranggi apang. Apang Paranggi Cake is a typical South Sulawesi cake. This cake is made using brown sugar, spices and specimens that have been fermented in a mixture of ingredients. Poteng is a typical fermented food originating from Bantaeng Regency, South Sulawesi Province. This food is made from cassava varieties of butter or cassava butter which is boiled half-cooked, then given yeast. Before we make the paranggi apang, we make the culprits first. Prickly from the paranggi apang dough, which is a ready-made pot that is mixed with coconut water, then is allowed to stand for an entire night until the mixture rises.
